Restraint Inside
03:54

Propagate genesis, and saturate ignorance. The only thing that stays the same is the way we say the name. Everywhere I look around, I can see a different town. I can understand the why, but I still have restraint inside. I was formed in a favored lie. When I was torn from it, I grew inside. I never want to leave again, because I know who is building them. It moved up in a wave of change, but now I wish that it stayed the same. I still want to defend from those that are filling them. Propagate genesis, and saturate ignorance. The only thing that stays the same is the way we say the name. Everywhere I look around, I can see a different town. I can understand the why, but I still have restraint inside. I had it all at one time, and laid it all down along the line. Rolled out and lost it all, now I must watch the fall. A sea invading, pool up the sky. I see the labels, I'm asking why? If you dilute the grain, will it ever be the same?

Why?

I sit and remember all the times when we had nothing to do. When we didn't have a home, and we never check the phone. On this day, honesty. We weren't meant to be this way, staring at a screen all day, reading what the others say. I am here, and this is now. Step outside, I'll show you how. One more thing to disavow. Why look away? It's my turn today. Lately you're giving me away. What is that under your thumb? Something inside of you has changed, and your worst has rearranged. It's not the same, it's all the shame. Let it forsake memories past, microchips will always last, take a shot and have a blast. I'll be waiting for the end, when there is nothing to send, you will see what I defend. Why look away? It's my turn today. You turn away, somehow burning me. Ever hotter, I fall into the water.

Take This Weight

I've awakened to find that I'm mistaken. Am I living or just pretending to be? Lies, they're gonna get you today. You want to polish a vision, well I've got nothing to say. Cries, and then I say it's okay. It's like I found a religion where I've got nothing to pray. Take this weight from me. Hate, forsake, then breed. I fall, I crawl, I never ever bleed. Take this weight from me. Life is passing, and I'm relapsing. I label what I'm able to see. Lies, they're gonna get you today. You want to polish a vision, well I've got nothing to say. Cries, whispers inside a cave. Sometimes we need the division, sometimes we need to engage.

So You Say
03:26
|

I tried to let this go, but parting with the past is harder than you know when the tree becomes the cabin. If no ones around, then theres no sound. If I fade or I turn grey, I won't say that I'm afraid. And you save, and you're safe, so you say. We want to find it out, but knowing anything is owning to the doubt. Everything is on the rise. Now that everyone has their gun there's nothing but smoking dreams, it doesn't seem to be working. And you save, and you're safe, so you say.
